Congratulations to our NJROTC for finishing 7th in the country at the Navy Nationals in Pensacola, FL. The unit took 3rd place overall for curl-ups and 5th place overall for push-ups. This competition included the best 25 NJROTC programs from around the country. Way to go Stallion cadets!!

Pearls of Wisdom Oyster Roast and Barbecue

Pearls of Wisdom Oyster Roast and Barbecue
The Virginia Beach Education Foundation's annual oyster roast and barbecue will be held on Saturday, April 18 from 2 to 6 p.m. at 24th Street and Atlantic Avenue. This event benefits VBCPS students and teachers. Go to
www.vbef.org or call 263-1337 or information on how to purchase tickets. Adult tickets are $35 until March 18 and child (ages 6-12) are $10. After March 18, the price of the adult ticket goes to $45.


Attention Seniors: GRADFEST: A drug and alcohol FREE celebration for our graduates! Awesome food, games, entertainment and prizes......... all night long! Pay for your entry/ticket to "Hollywood: Night of the Stars" on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym foyer from noon to 2:30pm. Click here for more information .

Virginia eLearning Backpack Initiative

The eLearning Backpack Initiative, funded largely by state grant, is providing a tablet computer to every 9th grade student at Bayside, Green Run and Kempsville high schools. In addition, students are receiving supporting digital content, applications and access to content creation tools.
