Green Run Camps

Green Run is now offering a variety of camps for rising 1st to rising 8th graders.  Each camp is $60 and runs from 8:30am to 12:30pm Monday – Thursday.  To register: print & mail one registration form per camper and send $30.00 NONREFUNDABLE FOR EACH CAMP, or you may mail the total amount owed. The $30 deposit is deducted from the total amount and the balance will be due at registration on the first day of camp. The Green Run High School Innovation Lab (iLab)

The GRHS Innovation Lab (iLab) is now accepting ONLINE enrollment forms for the 2018-2019 school year for incoming 9th graders.  The GRHS iLab focuses on social and emotional learning, learning expeditions, and multi-disciplinary learning.  Our next cohort for the iLab Class of 2022 will consist of 60 students. Advanced Placement Testing

Advanced Placement courses provide students with an opportunity to experience the academic challenge of college level work while they are still enrolled in high school. An expectation of each Advanced Placement course is that students will take national exams which are scheduled from May 7-18, 2018. For more information click here or click here to register.

Destination Graduation

Destination Graduation was created for students and families to help them navigate the journey from pre-kindergarten through high school to make the most of the opportunities available through Virginia Beach City Public Schools. New SOL Testing Delivery Software

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) has been working to expand the types of devices that school divisions can use in the administration of Standards of Learning (SOL) online tests. In order to accomplish this goal, the VDOE is upgrading its software from TestNav7 to TestNav8. Instructions for downloading TestNav8 on personal/home electronic devices can be found by clicking this link.

Behind the Wheel

Behind the Wheel applications are on the table in the guidance office.  Please fill out the application completely and return it to the main office. You will be notified when your driving session starts. All applicants need to have a learner’s permit, passed driver education classroom theory (have a green card), and be working on their 45 hour driving log.

Cost is $219.00 and is due the day class begins.

Parent-teacher conferences are held every first and third Wednesday from 2:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m. in the GRHS library. To schedule an appointment, complete and submit the form below.
