The mission of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools High/Middle/Elementary School Counseling Program is to partner with parents, community, faculty and staff to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students thus preparing them with the knowledge and skills to be productive members of society.

Destination Graduation

Welcome families! Destination Graduation was created to be a launching point for families and students to learn more about the resources available to students in Virginia Beach City Public Schools throughout their academic career. The site offers students and families grade-level specific information.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 2:15-2:45 p.m. in the GRHS library.

To schedule an appointment, complete and submit the GRHS Wednesday Parent-Teacher Conference Request Form

Student Transcript Requests

Student Transcripts are available as follows:

For students whose last date of attendance or graduation date was within the past three years, please submit a "transcript request for emailing" form to Green Run High School. [Contact the GRHS School Counseling office to obtain a form]

For records prior to that period, please submit a "records release form" to the Office of Guidance Services and Student Records. [More information is here]

Changes In Contact Info?

Has your family moved? Have any of your phone numbers changed?

Please be sure and updated this information with the School Counseling Office before the end of school! Many important pieces of information are sent home to students over the summer. If we do not have your new information on file, you will be missing out on report cards, testing scores, back to school information, etc.
